Our saltwater resistant stainless steel ropes A4(AISI 316) comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 1x19, 7x7 and 7x19, these are one or 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. Stainless steel ropes with 1x19 construction are considered "stiff" and not very flexible due to the small number of individual wires. 7x7 and 7x19 constructions, on the other hand, offer high flexibility due to the large number of individual wires. The stainless steel wire ropes can be used for securing, lifting and suspending suitable loads and is used both indoors, due to its corrosion protection, but also outdoors.
High safety standard: the working load of the stainless steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking strength.
Tested quality: We use only high quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.
Versatile applications: Stainless steel ropes are used, among other things, in the trades, bridge construction, engineering and shipbuilding. In addition, they continue to be used as a decorative element in gardens or shop windows.
Various extension options: The product can of course be installed with matching wire rope clamps or a rope lock, tensioned with wire rope tensioners and fastened with snap hooks.

Which side cutters can be used to cut this rope well?
It is best to cut the stainless steel cable with suitable wire rope cutters. With conventional side cutters you can only cut the wire rope to about 2mm.
How can the tensile force of Newton/mm², from the technical details, be converted into the maximum weight that the wire rope can safely withstand?
To calculate the minimum breaking force, divide the minimum breaking force value from the table by the force of gravity (9.81). Example 3mm 6x19: 5,420:9.81=552.50kg.
What is the bending radius of a 10mm stainless steel cable?
When using on a pulley, care should be taken to ensure that the diameter of the pulley is at least 20 times the diameter of the rope. At 10mm, the bending radius is therefore 200mm.
Stainless steel wire rope for terrain: stiff or flexible?
If you only have straight guy wires without deflections, you can use stiff steel cable. Alternatively, flexible steel cable must be used.
Do the stainless steel ropes have a steel or fiber core?
Our stainless steel ropes all have a steel core.
