Stainless Steel Wire Rope Holder with Eye Plate for 2mm - 3mm Ropes

Our wire rope holder with eye plate made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel consists of an oval eye plate with a 180° movable wire rope holder. With the nozzle depressed, wire and steel ropes can be continuously adjusted in length or height and then fixed with the tightened nozzle. The stainless steel wire rope holders are used to suspend suitable loads from wire ropes, adjust their height and do not require any additional tools. By using two wire rope holders, steel ropes in meter goods can also be tensioned horizontally, for example, as a rope tensioning set for curtains or drapes.

Tested quality: The stainless steel wire rope grippers can be used for steel ropes with a thickness of 2mm and 3mm. Due to the low breaking forces, we recommend to use wire rope grips only for light suspensions or guy wires. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope sliders with eye plate could be determined:

• 2mm: 145kg
• 3mm: 163kg

Attention. The breaking forces of the wire rope sliders are given without safety factor. Please use at least a 5-fold safety factor depending on the application (example 2mm: 145kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 29kg (working load)). Easy handling: With the help of the nozzle, the steel cable can be easily and quickly adjusted in height and length. The balls underneath the nozzle fix the wire rope holder on the rope and prevent it from slipping. The wire rope is not damaged during this process. The wire rope holder is supplied with two matching stainless steel pan head screws to ensure quick and easy installation. The wire rope holders with eye plate can be quickly fastened to suitable anchor points in wood or with suitable dowels in suitable substrates using a suitable screwdriver. A packaging unit always consists of one wire rope holder and two 4x40mm screws.

Versatile applications: The wire rope holders with direct wall or ceiling fastening are only to be used for the application of the determined working loads. Wire rope holders can be optimally used for applications where the length has to be individually adjusted on site. Possible applications for this include clotheslines, curtains, drapes, as well as suspended lamps, pictures or mirrors.
