Stainless Steel Rope Black PVC Plastic Coated in 3mm - 6mm Thickness
Our black PVC plastic coated stainless steel ropes V4A (AISI 316) comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The stainless steel wire rope can, due to the high corrosion protection, be optimally used outdoors for various applications from securing to tensioning or hanging.
Durable workmanship: the high-quality stainless steel wire rope is surrounded by a 1-2mm thick black matte plastic sheath to protect against damage and dirt, as well as for easy handling. The PVC jacket protects your items from scratches and the steel cable from wire breaks.
Tested quality: We use only high quality stainless steel for our stainless steel ropes. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for their application.
Versatile theft protection: The stainless steel ropes can be used as a tension rope, suspension, clothesline or anti-theft device for garden and patio furniture in the outdoor area.
Various Extension Options: Our black coated stainless steel rope can of course be tensioned with suitable rope terminals or turnbuckles, fastened with wire rope clips or installed with wire rope thimbles from the Drahtseile24 online store. When using accessories, you should always use components made of stainless steel or copper.

The numbers in brackets describe the thickness of the wire rope with and without sheathing. In this example, the wire rope without sheathing is 4mm thick and including the plastic sheathing it is 6mm.
How UV resistant is the black coating, is it suitable for use as a fence construction?
The sheathing of the wire ropes is very UV-resistant. In an outdoor test over a period of more than 3 years, no change in the sheathing could be detected.
