Stainless steel eye terminal for crimping for 2mm - 8mm ropes
Our saltwater resistant eye terminals made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel are optimally suited for crimping as end connection of steel ropes. The rolled terminals can be rolled on or pressed onto the steel rope using hydraulic pressing tools.
Tested quality: Due to the processing of high-quality and rust-free V4A stainless steel, the rope terminals can also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. In connection with the hydraulic pressing tongs from our online store, the following breaking forces of the terminals could be determined:
- 2mm with terminals: 326kg
- 3mm with terminals: 326kg
- 4mm with terminals: 907kg
- 5mm with terminals: 968kg
- 6mm with terminals: 448kg
Attention. The breaking forces of the rope terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be included for their application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic crimping pliers, the wire rope terminal can be fixed quickly and safely to the steel rope. Please note that crimping with a simple hand crimping pliers, such as our 2-in-1 crimping pliers & wire rope scissors, is not possible. Thanks to the closed eye, the eye terminal can be attached to suitable attachment points using a shackle or quick connector.
Advantage to the terminal with grub screws: Stainless steel eye terminals can be optimally used as a connecting element to tension or fasten stainless steel ropes between two attachment points. Due to the possibility of in-house production, the exact length of the steel cable does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. Due to the fixed pressing, a subsequent separation of the steel cable from the terminal, is not possible.
Easy expansion options: Our eye terminals can of course be combined with all suitable stainless steel cables, eye bolts or connecting links from the store of Drahtseile24 and pressed with the hydraulic pressing tongs. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
