Wire Cable Railing

Wire Cable Railing

Our sheathed stainless steel ropes with terminals are available with four different terminals: thread terminal, shroud terminal, fork terminal and roller terminal. The stainless steel ropes are made of V4A stainless steel and are surrounded with a 1-2mm thick sheath. Simply select the appropriate thickness and your individual desired length and we will manufacture the rope for you according to precise measurements.

Stainless steel ropes with transparent plastic sheath with terminals can be pressed by us with four different terminals and thimbles. You can choose between threaded terminal with left or right thread, shroud tensioner with fork, fork terminal or rolling terminal. The stainless steel ropes with a thickness of 3mm have the construction 7x7, all other thicknesses from 4mm are made with the construction 7x19. The second number refers to the number of individual wires within each strand, the number of strands is represented by the first number.

Stainless steel ropes with terminals are usually used as tensioning ropes for awnings, stair railings or similar. With the help of the tensioning elements of the shroud tensioner or threaded terminal, the stainless steel ropes can be tensioned to the desired length. At the other end there is a thimble, eye or fork terminal to fix the stainless steel wire rope to suitable fastening points.

The coated stainless steel ropes are offered in five different strengths: 3mm (2 to 3), 4mm (3 to 4), 6mm (4 to 6), 8mm (6 to 8) and 10mm(8 to 10). The numbers in the brackets describe the thickness of the wire rope without and with sheathing. For example, 6mm (4 to 6): The wire rope is 4mm thick without the sheathing and 6mm with the plastic sheathing.

Of course, our coated stainless steel ropes can be combined with matching eyebolts, mast plates, deck plates, snap hooks or shackles from the Drahtseile24 shop. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
