An important part of the wire rope industry are shackles, due to the high payloads, shackles are mainly used in shipping, conveyor technology or lifting systems as attachment means Our shackles have payloads between 250kg - 6. 500kg, these payloads are calculated with a 6-fold safety factor to the actual minimum breaking load and regularly checked by our own universal tensile testing machines, so that a flawless quality assurance is given.
High-strength and tapered shackles are equipped with either a eyebolt or a nut-splint lock. Unlike eyebolt shackles, nut-and-splint shackles are used for long-term applications.
All stainless steel shackles offered are made of high quality A4A AISI 316 stainless steel, which allows the shackles to be used even under very difficult conditions, such as in seawater. Stainless steel shackles are mainly used for sailing, but also as a sling for outdoor use.
In general, all orders of shackles are packed ready for shipment within one day and shipped free of charge.
