Stainless steel cable clamps for 1mm - 4mm steel ropes

Our silver, saltwater-resistant screw clamps consist of an elongated base body into which two wire rope ends can be clamped with screws. The stainless steel screw clamps are used to connect and hold detachable rope end connections with loops or thimbles.

Tested quality: Our stainless steel screw clamps are made of high-quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel and can be used for 1mm - 4mm thick steel cables. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope clamps were determined:

• 1mm: 38kg
• 1.5mm: 102kg
• 2mm: 224kg
• 3mm: 392kg
• 4mm: 484kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the stainless steel cable clamps are specified without a safety factor. Please add at least a 3-5-fold safety factor for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the product page. 

Easy handling: Self-assembly of the rope screw clamps is possible using a suitable wrench; the two screws clamp the wire ropes together while the screws are being tightened. A rope end connection can already be made with a rope clamp.

Versatile areas of application: Stainless steel screw clamps are used to connect and hold detachable rope end connections and are suitable for forming loops and eyelets. Suitable areas of application for rope end connections with screw clamps are the hanging of lamps, decoration or stainless steel ropes as climbing aids indoors and outdoors. Please note that installation should be carried out by qualified personnel, taking into account the relevant safety factors.
