Forestry Cables

Forestry ropes in seven different thicknesses from 5mm - 16mm. Available as choker rope with high strength sliding hook, sling rope with hook & loop, and grade 8 load hook. The steel ropes are processed in Germany according to DIN European Standard 13414 and are not highly compressed.

Forestry ropes for complex forestry work made of non-high-density steel ropes with thicknesses between 5mm - 16mm and an optimal abrasion resistance and a high corrosion protection. All working loads are calculated with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load and regularly checked with our own universal tensile testing machines. Forestry ropes are mainly used to support tree felling work, but are also used as chocker ropes in forestry for backing timber.

By default we offer lengths between 0,5m - 100m, if you need a special special length, don"t hesitate to contact us, we can make any length for you. Just use our special order form in the top menu bar.

In addition to the green eye hook, you can choose between the eye hook of grade 8 and a high-strength rope sliding hook. All hooks are captively connected to the steel rope and cannot be loosened or lost.

All specified working loads are calculated with a 5-fold safety factor for the minimum breaking load and regularly checked with our own universal tensile testing machines.
