Product description
Wall Brackets Climbing Aids Stainless Steel V4A AISI 316 for 2 - 6mm ropes
Our spacers for trellises made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel with open cross clamp and hanger bolt are ideal for the crosswise fastening of wire ropes at a distance from the wall for façade greening.
Tested quality: The spacers for climbing aids and trellises for steel cables are made of high-quality, seawater-resistant stainless steel and can also be exposed to difficult weather conditions thanks to their high corrosion resistance.
Easy handling: Wire ropes can be attached to the cross clamps very easily using a suitable Allen key. The clamping screw is first loosened, the steel cables are clamped in a cross shape and then tightened with an Allen key. The distance to the wall can be variably adjusted using the metric thread and the lock nuts.
Versatile areas of application: Stainless steel spacers can be used to fasten steel cables crosswise on top of each other or simply for trellises for façade greening. Thanks to the blind hole and the grub screw, the clamps prevent the steel cables from slipping when fastened crosswise or simply.
The spacers are used in conjunction with stainless steel cables for greening façades as a climbing aid for trellises for ivy, roses, vines or similar plants.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what distance must the spacers be attached to the wall?
The stainless steel trellis spacers should be mounted at a distance of 0.50m – 1.50m from each other.
Is the spacer only suitable for the vertical installation of trellises, or could I also use it to stretch a trellis horizontally over my wooden pergola so that the vines and hops can grow over the top of the pergola?
The stainless steel trellis spacers can be used for both vertical and horizontal trellises.
What wire diameter do you recommend for the trellis?
For a trellis we recommend a thickness of 4mm.
How strong should the wire rope be for espalier fruit and how many spacers do you need per meter? Do you have to tension the wire ropes or can you do it by hand without a tensioner?
For espalier fruit, we recommend wire ropes with a diameter of 3mm - 4mm. This thickness is sufficient to support the plants without being too dominant. As for the spacers, a distance of around 50 cm between the holders is ideal, which results in around 2 spacers per meter. This keeps the wire rope stable and prevents it from sagging. For tensioning: To keep the wire rope firm and straight, we recommend using terminals or turnbuckles. Tightening by hand is possible, but the rope remains more stable and better tensioned with tensioning devices. Fastening without turnbuckles is also possible.
How strong should the wire rope be as a climbing aid for Clematis Montana (clematis)?
When using a wire rope as a climbing aid for a Clematis Montana (clematis), we generally recommend a wire rope with a diameter of 3mm - 4mm. This thickness is sufficiently stable to support the plant safely, but at the same time discreet enough not to appear too dominant visually.
