Wire rope end sleeves black for 2-8mm ropes
Our wire rope end sleeves made of black plastic are used to protect against damage, injury or soiling caused by the splicing of steel ropes. The end sleeve has an elongated shape and can be easily attached to the end of the matching wire rope with the bare hand.
Various units: You can get the steel wire rope end sleeves suitable for ropes with diameters of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm as well as packaging units between 1x -100x pieces.

Can I attach a 2mm end sleeve to a 1mm rope end (possibly shrink with heat)?
Yes, that will work. You may be able to increase the durability by using superglue in the end caps.
Which end sleeve would fit a 2.5mm galvanized wire rope?
For a galvanized wire rope with a rope thickness of 2.5mm, please use a 3mm end sleeve.
How are the end sleeves attached?
The end sleeves can be pushed onto the end of the wire rope with your bare hands. The wire rope end sleeves can also be fixed in place with superglue.
Will the 8mm ferrule fit an 8mm wire rope or is it too tight?
The 8mm wire rope end sleeve fits perfectly on an 8mm steel cable.
