Cross clamp stainless steel V4A AISI 316 for 2 - 6mm ropes
Our one-piece and closed cross clamps made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel with grub screw and metric thread are ideally suited for crosswise fastening of wire ropes.
Tested quality: The cross clamps for steel ropes are made of high quality and seawater resistant stainless steel and can, due to the high corrosion resistance, also be exposed to difficult weather conditions.
Easy handling: The cross clamps, which consist of only one part, can be very easily attached to the steel cable with the help of a suitable Allen key. First, the clamping screw is loosened, the steel cables are clamped in a cross shape and then tightened with an Allen key.
Versatile applications: Cross clamps can be used to fasten steel cables crosswise on top of each other. Due to the blind hole and the grub screw, the cross clamps prevent steel ropes from slipping during crosswise tensioning. The clamp stoppers are particularly suitable in the use of rope system, such as in climbing aids with stainless steel cables for roses, vines, cucumbers or the like.

How problematic is it in terms of contact corrosion to use the stainless steel cross clamp for galvanized wire ropes?
Basically, I would advise against using different metals because of their different electrochemical properties. As you have already written, a reaction can cause corrosion problems, which in the worst case can lead to a substance dissolving.
