Stainless steel rope plastic coated in 3-6mm thickness with shroud tensioner and eye terminal
Our black PVC coated stainless steel ropes made of high quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, this is a rope construction with 7 strands and 7 or 19 single wires each. This construction makes the wire rope quite flexible. The sheathed stainless steel wire rope is pressed on one end with a V4A stainless steel shroud tensioner with fork, in order to be able to tension the stainless steel wire rope. At the other end, the rope is pressed with a V4A eye terminal to be able to attach it to suitable fasteners.
When using the shroud tensioner, please make sure to lubricate the threads with stainless steel assembly paste before tensioning. The stainless steel assembly paste prevents seizing or cold welding of stainless steel threads.
High quality workmanship: to protect against wire breakage and injury, the stainless steel wire rope is wrapped with 1-2mm thick black plastic sheath. The numbers in brackets in the offer describe the thickness of the steel cable without and with sheathing. For example, 6mm (4 on 6): The steel cable without sheathing has a diameter of 4mm, including plastic sheathing the diameter is 6mm.
Tested quality: we use only high quality V4A stainless steel for our sheathed wire ropes, so we can guarantee acid and seawater resistance. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for their application.
Versatile applications: Our black PVC coated stainless steel ropes can be used for stair railings or as tensioning ropes of any kind. Due to corrosion resistance, stainless steel ropes are increasingly used in outdoor applications. The stainless steel ropes are made according to your request to the exact centimeter and shipped within 2-4 business days.
