Product description
Stainless steel rope plastic coated in 3-8mm thickness with thread terminals with left and right hand thread
Our coated stainless steel ropes made of high quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel are classified as 7x7 (3mm) and 7x19 (4mm - 8mm), these are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The stainless steel wire rope is crimped at both ends with stainless steel screw terminals with metric thread M4, M6, M8, M10 or M12. On one end, the stainless steel wire rope is swaged with a screw terminal with left-hand thread and on one end with a screw terminal with right-hand thread. Due to the counter-rotating threads, tensioning of the stainless steel wire ropes is possible at anchor points with recessed threads.
High-quality workmanship: the stainless steel cables are surrounded by a 1-2mm thick transparent plastic sheath to protect against wire breakage or injury. The numbers in the brackets in the offer describe the thickness of the steel cable without and with sheathing. For example, 6mm (4 on 6): The steel cable is 4mm thick without sheathing and 6mm thick including plastic sheathing. The stainless steel ropes are made to your exact centimeter and shipped within 2-4 business days.
Tested quality: For our coated steel ropes we use only high quality V4A stainless steel and can therefore guarantee acid and seawater resistance. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for their application.
Versatile applications: Our coated stainless steel cables can be used for suitable guy wires for awnings, for facade greening or for stair railings. Due to their corrosion resistance, stainless steel cables are increasingly used in outdoor applications.
Fastenings Extension Options: The stainless steel ropes can of course be combined with suitable eyebolts or eye plates from the store of Drahtseile24. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the information in brackets after the thickness mean? For example, 6mm (4 by 6)?
The numbers in brackets describe the thickness of the wire rope with and without sheathing. In this example, the wire rope without sheathing is 4mm thick and including the plastic sheathing it is 6mm.
Does the specified length (desired size) refer only to the steel cable or is the length specified including the two threaded terminals at the ends?
The specified length (desired size) refers to the complete usable length from end of thread to end of thread. You can find a representation of the length of the wire rope under the technical details.
Does the rope rotate when screwed in? Or can the thread be screwed into a fixed fine-thread dowel?
By processing a left-handed and a right-handed thread, the wire rope does not rotate and can therefore be screwed into a thread.
