Silver plastic coated stainless steel rope set 1 with 3-10mm ropes
Our stainless steel rope set 1 consists of a plastic coated stainless steel rope, 6x matching stainless steel wire rope clips, and 2x stainless steel thimbles. All components of the rope set are made of salt water resistant VA4 AISI 316 stainless steel, so they can be used in harsh weather conditions for a long period of time.
Tested stainless steel ropes: Our plastic-coated stainless steel ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The stainless steel ropes are available in 3mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm thickness. When specifying the thickness, the first number in the brackets is the thickness of the wire rope without sheathing and the second is the thickness with sheathing. The number in front of the brackets basically describes the complete diameter of the steel wire rope including the sheathing.
High quality accessories: The scope of delivery also includes 6x matchingStainless steel wire rope clamps of DIN 741 and 2x stainless steel wire rope clamps of DIN 6899.A detailed overview of the supplied wire rope accessories can be found in the table below.
Versatile applications: Our stainless steel wire rope set is ideally suited for self-assembly outdoors. For the assembly, the rope clamps are pressed, with the help of a suitable wrench, on two wire rope parts, whereby an end connection is created in which, the rope thimble is clamped. Due to the self-assembly, the length of the steel cable can be adjusted individually.
Important safety note: Self-made rope end connections often do not comply with the DIN European standard, please ensure proper assembly.
Various extension options: The rope set can of course be cut with wire rope scissors and eyebolts or eyeplates from the Drahtseile24 store can be attached. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at any time.
