Eye bolt stainless steel V2A AISI 304 with wood thread
Our stainless eyebolts made of V2A AISI 304 stainless steel with wood thread and ring are ideally suited as fasteners for any kind of steel cables.
Tested quality: The eyebolts with wood thread are made of high quality stainless steel and can, due to the corrosion resistance, also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. Due to the closed eyelet, the eyebolts can demonstrate very high breaking forces. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the stainless steel eyebolts with wood thread were fastened to pine wood, and the following minimum breaking forces could be determined:
- 5x50mm: 489kg
- 6x60mm: 501kg
- 8x80mm: 989kg
- 10x100mm: 1.988kg
In all the test trials, the screws were pulled out of the pine wood, and no eyelet suffered any significant damage. Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking strength, at least a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking strength should be included in the application. A new and dry pine beam has been used, no statement can be made for wet, weathered or rotten wood.

Easy handling: eyebolts with ring can be quickly fastened to suitable anchor points in the wood with the help of the pronounced thread.
Versatile applications: Eyebolts with wood thread serve perfectly as attachment points for a wide variety of applications, such as fastening stainless steel tension cables, hanging decorations, flower pots, lanterns, in guy wires, as supports for plants or fastening clotheslines. The eyebolts can be very easily screwed into the wood by hand
