Wire rope sets can be used for various applications, especially for tensioning wire ropes a wire rope set is very helpful. You can choose between the different materials, equipment of the sets, as well as the strength and length of the wire rope.
By default we offer the sets in lengths from 0.5m to 50m, if you need a special length, please do not hesitate to contact us
.With no or one-sided crimping and enclosed wire clamps, the lengths of the wire ropes can be individually and easily adjusted on site. One-sided crimping is a DIN-compliant crimping with a thimble.
The wire rope sets are equipped with matching wire rope clamps for making eyelets, wire rope thimbles for internal protection of the rope, as well as wire rope tensioners for tensioning. Each wire rope set is equipped with 4x wire rope clamps per side (stainless steel sets 3x) to guarantee a firm attachment. According to DIN specifications, at least 2x wire rope clamps per side must be fitted for a rope diameter of up to 6mm and at least 3x wire rope clamps per side for a diameter of 8mm - 16mm. The rope end connection should be checked at regular intervals for wear, improper use and general suitability.
The wire rope sets are ideally suited for self-assembly, whereby the rope clamps are tightened with the aid of a suitable screwdriver. Self-assembly also allows the size of the loops at the ends to be determined.
