Wire Rope Sling with Thimbles and Sliding Choker Hook

Silver wire rope in 10-16mm thickness, thimble/thimble with rope glue hook

Our silver galvanized steel wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to rope class 6x37, which is 6 strands with 37 wires each. Due to the high number of individual wires, there is both high flexibility and increased stability, it is not a high-strength wire rope. The wire rope is crimped at both ends with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load bearing point. In addition, the choker rope is equipped with a freely movable, high-strength rope sliding hook.

High safety standard: The working load of the steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load and is swaged in accordance with DIN-EN 12385-4. All wire ropes are equipped with a marking, according to the mentioned DIN, on the crimping clamp.

Tested quality: We use only high quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. For their application, a works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued.

High-quality back rope: The steel ropes can be optimally used as choker rope or back rope, one or more logs can be moved at the same time. Due to the pressed-in, high-strength rope sliding hook, the wire rope is quickly wrapped around belly logs, while the low weight is a clear advantage over chains.
