Welded shackle with eyebolt with 330kg - 9.500kg payload
Our silver hot-dip galvanized shackles are equipped with a colored (color may vary) safety pin, which is screwed into the thread of the curved base body.
High safety standard: The payload of the shackle is specified with a 6-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force.
Tested quality: With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to EN 10204, 2.2 can be supplied for their application.
Easy handling: Due to the screwed-in eyebolt, assembly or disassembly at various anchor points is quick and easy.
Versatile applications: Shackles are mainly used in lifting systems as a replaceable connecting link to connect anchor points and wire rope. However, they are also increasingly used in shipping, materials handling or even mechanical engineering. When using curved shackles and wire rope, we recommend the following combination:
- 3/16" (330kg): Wire ropes up to a thickness of 3mm
- 1/4" (500kg): 4mm wire rope
- 5/16" (750kg): 5mm wire rope
- 3/8" (1.000kg): 6mm wire rope
- 7/16" (1.500kg): 6mm - 8mm wire rope
- 1/2" (2.000kg): 8mm - 10mm wire rope
- 5/8" (3.250kg): 12mm wire rope
- 3/4" (4.750kg): 14mm wire rope
- 7/8" (6.500kg): 16mm wire rope
- 1" (8,500kg): Wire ropes 16mm and thicker
- 1 1/8" (9.500kg) wire ropes with a thickness of 16mm and bigger
