Silver wire rope in 1mm - 12mm thickness pressed with round clamp
Our silver galvanized steel wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are classified as 7x7, 6x19, 7x19 and 6x37, which are 6 or 7 strands with 7, 19 or 37 wires respectively. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope is crimped at one end with a round crimping clamp, which has the function of a stop clamp. At the other end, the wire rope is annealed up to a thickness of 8mm, so that the individual wires cannot splice apart.
High safety standard: The working load of the steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load and is crimped according to DIN-EN 12385-4. From a rope diameter of 8mm, there is a marking, according to the mentioned DIN, on the crimping clamp. Custom-made end connections often do not comply with DIN, in which case the working load must be reduced.
Tested quality: We use only high-quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee complete quality assurance. A factory certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.
Wire rope for awning: The wire ropes can be used as a replacement for a broken wire rope in an awning or for example as a hoof shoe rope. The steel wire ropes can be made to individual dimensions upon your request. Please refer to the technical details for the underlying dimensions.
Various extension options: The product can of course be attached with suitable rope clamps and connected with snap hooks, shackles or quick links.
