Wire rope thimbles for 1-16mm rope
Our silver galvanized thimbles comply with DIN 6899 and are made of C10 steel.
Wire rope protection: The function of thimbles is to protect wire ropes from inside, by color marking, the crimped wire rope can be distinguished from others.
Versatile applications: In addition to the standard sizes of Form B, the wire rope thimbles are also available in special sizes. Special thimbles are used when the inner width of the standard sizes is not sufficient and a larger diameter is needed, for example for shackles. Please refer to the technical details for the dimensions of the special thimbles.

Which thimbles do I need for coated steel cable, for example 8mm (6 on 8)?
For 8mm (6 by 8) wire ropes you need RW 10 thimbles for 8mm wire ropes. The second number in the selection field "Groove width/rope thickness" describes the recommended rope thickness.
