Our silver galvanized steel wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 6x19 and 6x37. These are 6 strands with 19 or 37 wires each and a fiber core (FE). The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope is crimped at both ends with a larger thimble than the DIN standard size. The larger thimbles protect the wire rope at the load attachment point and provide significantly more space, for example for bolts, for slings.

High safety standard: The working load of the steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load and is swaged in accordance with DIN-EN 12385-4. From a rope diameter of 8mm, there is a marking, according to the mentioned DIN, on the crimping clamp.

Tested quality: For our wire ropes we use only high quality industrial steel. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.

Versatile applications: Wire ropes are used for securing, lifting and suspending suitable loads in the trades, bridge, engineering and shipbuilding sectors, among others. In addition, they continue to be used as a decorative element in the garden or shop window area. Due to the very large thimble, it is also possible to attach the wire rope to significantly more massive links.

Various extension options: The product can of course be attached with suitable slings, such as shackles or load hooks.
