Swivel arm wire rope in 3-8mm thickness, thimble/thimble
Our silver galvanized, three-armed steel wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 12385-4 and are assigned to rope class 18x7, i.e. 18 strands with 7 wires each. Due to the double strand layers in opposite directions, the wire rope exerts a very low torque on an unguided load. The wire rope is crimped at both ends with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load bearing point.
High minimum breaking load: the minimum breaking load of the three-arm steel wire rope is as follows:
- 3mm: 591kg
- 4mm: 1.049kg
- 5mm: 1.636kg
- 6mm: 2.355kg
- 8mm: 4.194kg
Attention. The working load of the three-armed wire ropes is given with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load.
Use as a crane rope: the wire rope serves optimally as a crane rope for lifting and suspending suitable loads, especially at high lifting heights and is used both indoors and outdoors.
Various extension options: The three-armed wire rope can of course be attached with suitable shackles or eye hooks from the store of Drahtseile24.
