PVC coated wire rope set 6 with 3mm - 12mm ropes
Our galvanized and plastic-coated steel wire ropes comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 6x7 and 6x19. These are 6 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope is available in thicknesses of 3mm - 12mm and in lengths of 1m, 1.5m, 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m, 8m, 10m, 20m and 50m. On one side the steel wire rope is conically crimped with a thimble DIN 6899 form B to protect the wire rope at the load bearing point. In addition, the scope of delivery includes four wire rope clamps, matching the thickness of the ordered rope, a thimble and two M6, M8, M10 or M12 turnbuckles.
Durable workmanship: the high-quality wire rope is surrounded by a 1-2mm thick transparent plastic sheath to protect it from damage and dirt, as well as for easy handling. The PVC sheathing protects your items from abrasion and scratches.
Tested quality: we use only high quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.
Versatile applications: Our wire rope sets are ideally suited for self-assembly, in which case the U-clamps are tightened, using a suitable wrench. Self-assembly also allows you to determine the size of the loops at the ends.
Important safety note: Self-assembled wire rope end connections often do not comply with the DIN European standard. Proper assembly of the wire rope set is of great importance, please contact us if there are any questions.
