Stainless steel threaded terminal black with internal thread for crimping for 3mm - 6mm ropes
Our black colored and salt water resistant V4A AISI 316 stainless steel thread terminals with metric M5, M6 or M8 thread are available with left or right hand thread. On one side of the rope terminal is the insertion, which can be connected to the steel rope by crimping.
Tested quality: Due to the processing of high-quality and rustproof V4A stainless steel, the rope terminals can also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. The high-quality rolled terminals can be pressed together with steel cables using hydraulic pressing tools. In connection with the hydraulic pressing tongs from our online store, the following breaking forces of the terminals could be determined:
- 2mm with terminals: 326kg
- 3mm with terminals: 326kg
- 4mm with terminals: 907kg
- 5mm with terminals: 968kg
- 6mm with terminals: 448kg
Attention. The breaking forces of the terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be included for their application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic crimping pliers, the wire rope terminal can be fixed quickly and safely to the steel rope. Please note that crimping with a simple hand crimping pliers, such as our 2-in-1 crimping pliers & wire rope shears, is not possible. Thanks to the internal thread, the terminal can be fastened and tensioned on metric threads. No further fastening materials such as snap hooks or eyebolts are required for fastening.
Advantage to the terminal with grub screws: Stainless steel rolled terminals can be optimally used as a connecting element to tension stainless steel cables between two fastening points. Due to the possibility of in-house production, the exact length of the tensioning rope does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. Due to the fixed crimping, a subsequent separation of the steel cable from the terminal, is not possible.
Easy expansion options: Our black thread terminals can of course be combined with all matching stainless steel cables from the store of Drahtseile24 and pressed with the hydraulic pressing tongs.
