Galvanized oil terminals for crimping for 3mm - 4mm ropes
Our galvanized eye terminals are optimal for crimping as an end connection of steel ropes, especially for sheathed steel ropes for fitness equipment. The eye roll terminals can be rolled on or pressed onto the steel rope using hydraulic pressing tools.
Tested quality: Due to the processing of high-quality steel, the rope terminals can also be subjected to high lifting and pulling loads. In connection with the hydraulic pressing pliers from our online store, the following breaking forces of the terminals could be determined:
- 4mm (3 on 4) with oil terminals: 886kg
- 5mm (4 on 5) with oil terminals: 1,121kg
Attention. The breaking forces of the eyelet terminals are given without safety factor. Please note that a suitable safety factor must be included for their application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: With the help of our hydraulic crimping pliers, the rope terminal can be quickly and safely attached to the steel rope. Please note that crimping with a simple hand crimping pliers, such as our 2-in-1 crimping pliers & wire rope cutter, is not possible. To ensure a high breaking load, the sheathing must be removed from sheathed steel cables before crimping.
Optimal application possibility: Our eye terminal can be optimally used as an end connection of steel ropes for fitness equipment. Due to the possibility of in-house production, the exact length of the steel cable does not have to be defined in advance, but can be individually adapted to the conditions on site. Due to the fixed crimping, a subsequent separation of the steel cable from the terminal, is not possible.
Easy expansion options: Our eyelet terminals can of course be combined with all sheathed steel cables for fitness equipment of the thicknesses 4mm (3 on 4) and 5mm (4 on 5) from the store of Drahtseile24 and pressed with the hydraulic pressing pliers. What does 4 by 5mm mean? My rope thickness would be 5mm, is that OK?
The eyelet terminals are mainly used for coated steel cables for fitness equipment. The cable thickness 5mm (4 by 5) describes the wire cable with and without a coating. Since the cable thickness without a coating is 4mm, a steel cable with a thickness of 5mm cannot be crimped.
Which pressing jaws are required for the 4mm eyelet terminal?
For the 4mm eyelet terminal, please use the pressing jaws for the hydraulic pressing pliers for 4mm eyelet terminals.
