Product description
Silver wire rope with annealing separation in 4-16mm thickness with thimble
Our silver galvanized steel wire ropes comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 6x19, 7x19 and 6x37. These are 6 or 7 strands with 19 or 37 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope for winch is crimped at one end with a thimble DIN 6899 Form B to protect the wire rope at the load pick-up point. At the other end, the wire rope is annealed to make fixing in the winch as easy as possible.
High safety standard: The payload of the winch rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force and is crimped according to DIN-EN 12385-4. From a rope diameter of 8mm, a marking, according to the mentioned DIN, takes place on the crimping clamp.
Tested quality: For our winch steel wire ropes we use only high quality industrial steel. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for their application.
Versatile applications: Wire ropes for winches are used specifically as deflected hoisting or winch ropes. During installation, make sure that the sheave diameter is? 20 of the rope diameter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum radius for a pulley for a 5mm wire rope?
When using it on a cable winch, make sure that the size of the pulley diameter is at least 20 times the rope diameter, so in your case 100mm.
What is the minimum bending radius of the wire rope with a thickness of 6 mm? For our application, the rope should be guided around a deflection roller with a wrap angle of 100°.
The minimum bending radius should not be less than 120mm. When using on a cable winch or pulley, it is essential to ensure that the size of the pulley diameter is at least 20 times the rope diameter.
