Stainless Steel Suspension Rope with Annealing Separation in 1.5-8mm Thickness and Thimble
Our saltwater resistant stainless steel suspension ropes, made of A4 AISI 316, comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The suspension rope is crimped on one end with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load suspension point. At the other end, the wire rope is annealed to make fixing, for example in a suitable wire rope holder, as easy as possible.
High safety standard: The payload of the steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load and is crimped according to DIN-EN 12385-4.
Tested quality: We use only high quality industrial steel for our wire ropes. With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for your application.
Versatile applications: The stainless steel ropes are used, among other things, in stage technology or in professional trade fair construction with the help of a wire rope gripper. In addition, they continue to be used as a decorative element in gardens or shop windows. Thanks to their resistance to seawater, stainless steel suspension ropes can be optimally used outdoors.
