Our silver-galvanised, height-adjustable steel wire ropes comply with DIN European standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the 7x7 and 7x19 rope classes, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The length-adjustable wire rope is crimped on one end with a round press clamp to mount the wire rope in the ceiling attachment supplied.  At the other end, the wire rope is annealed to make insertion into the wire rope holder quick and easy. The scope of delivery also includes a wire rope holder with rope clamp. The wire rope holder can be used to continuously adjust the length of the suspension rope, fix it at the desired height and at the same time individually adjust the diameter of the loop. In conjunction with wire rope holders, suspension ropes are used to suspend suitable loads and adjust their height without the need for additional tools.

Tested quality: The 1mm - 3mm suspension sets are specified with a 5-fold safety factor for the minimum breaking force. Due to the low breaking forces, we recommend only using the suspension sets for light suspensions. Using calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the wire rope holders and ceiling attachments were determined:

• Wire rope holder with rope clamp 1mm: 30kg
• Wire rope holder with rope clamp 1.5mm: 152kg
• Wire rope holder with rope clamp 2mm: 244kg
• Wire rope holder with rope clamp 2.5mm: 356kg
• Wire rope holder with rope clamp 3mm: 591kg

• Ceiling attachment 1mm: 86kg
• Ceiling attachment 1.5mm: 132kg
• Ceiling attachment 2mm: 193kg
• Ceiling attachment 2.5mm: 285kg
• Ceiling attachment 3mm: 346kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the wire rope holders are specified without a safety factor. Please base your application on at least a 5-fold safety factor (example 1.5mm: 132kg (breaking load) : 5 (safety factor) = 26kg (working load)). Easy handling: The wire rope can be quickly and easily adjusted in height and length using the safety nozzle. The snapped-in safety nozzle fixes the wire rope clamp to the wire rope and prevents it from slipping. There are three balls inside the wire rope holder, which are held in the cone by a spring. As soon as the desired length or height is reached, the balls clamp the wire rope. The wire rope is not damaged during this process. The ceiling attachment can be quickly and easily attached to suitable surfaces using the pan-head screw supplied and a suitable dowel.

Versatile areas of application: Suspension ropes with wire rope holder and ceiling attachment are only to be used for the application of the determined working loads. Our suspension sets are ideal for applications where the length needs to be adjusted on site. Possible applications include suspended pipes, pictures, lamps or other objects.
