Our salt water resistant stainless steel ropes VA4(AISI 316) comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19. These are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The stainless steel wire rope is crimped at one end with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble to protect the wire rope at the load suspension point. At the other end, the stainless steel wire rope is annealed to make fixing in a wire rope winch or rope clamps as easy as possible.

High safety standard: The working load of the wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force and is crimped according to DIN-EN 12385-4. From a rope diameter of 8mm, there is a marking, according to the mentioned DIN, on the crimping clamp.

Tested quality: For our stainless steel ropes we use only high quality industrial steel. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. A works certificate according to DIN EN 10204-2.2 or a meaningful test report can be issued for their application.

Versatile applications: Stainless steel ropes with a thimble on one side can be optimally used as suspension ropes in indoor and outdoor applications. Due to their acid resistance, stainless steel ropes can also be used under difficult conditions.

Various expansion options: The product can of course be tensioned with suitable turnbuckles, fastened with snap hooks, shackles or screw links, or clamped with rope clamps.
