Stainless steel rope in 1.5mm - 6mm thickness, thimble with two captive snap hooks
Our saltwater-resistant stainless steel ropes A4 (AISI 316) comply with DIN European standard 13414-1 and are categorised in rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, which are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires ensures both high flexibility and increased stability. The wire rope is crimped at both ends with a stainless steel crimp clamp, a DIN 6899 form B thimble and stainless steel DIN 5299/form C snap hooks with thimble on both ends.
High safety standard: The working load of the wire rope with hook is specified with a safety factor of 2 times the minimum breaking load. Please note that the breaking load of the wire rope is significantly higher than the breaking load of the snap hook.
Tested quality: We only use high-quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel for our steel cables with hooks, which means that the steel cable can also be exposed to severe weather conditions. With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee seamless quality assurance.
Versatile applications: The rustproof stainless steel cables are used for suspending and fastening suitable loads in both the private and commercial sectors. The stainless steel cable with snap hook can be used to suspend a submersible pump, decorative elements or to secure hinged doors.
Various extension options: The stainless steel cable can of course be combined with suitable fastening options such as ring nuts or eyebolts from the online shop.
