Stainless Steel Rope Black in 1,5mm - 6mm Thickness with Thimble
Our black colored & salt water resistant stainless steel ropes A4(AISI 316) comply with the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are assigned to the rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, these are 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased stability. The stainless steel wire rope is crimped at one end with a DIN 6899 Form B thimble and a stainless steel V4A crimping clamp to protect the wire rope at the load suspension point. At the other end, the black stainless steel wire rope is annealed to make fixing in a wire rope winch or rope clamps as easy as possible.
High safety standard: The working load of the stainless steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force and is crimped according to DIN-EN 12385-4.
Tested quality: We only use high quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel for our black stainless steel wire ropes with stainless steel crimp clamps, which allows the wire ropes to be exposed to harsh weather conditions for a long period of time. With the help of several own calibrated universal tensile testing machines we are able to guarantee a complete quality assurance. In several test trials, the following minimum breaking forces of the stainless steel ropes could be determined:
- 1.5mm: 139kg
- 2mm: 248kg
- 3mm: 521kg
- 4mm: 926kg
- 5mm: 1.448kg
- 6mm: 2.085kg
Attention. When specifying the minimum breaking load, no safety factor is taken into account. The working load of the stainless steel ropes is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load. You can find the detailed test reports under "Test reports" on the article page.
Versatile uses: The black stainless steel ropes for winches are specifically used as a deflected hoist or winch rope for boat trailers and trailers. When installing, make sure the sheave diameter is ≥ 20 of the rope diameter.
Various extension options: The black stainless steel cable with thimble can of course be attached with suitable shackles, snap hooks or load hooks.
