Silver Simplex Clamp for 2-6mm Ropes
Our silver galvanized simplex clamps consist of a base body with grub screw, nut and clamp jaw and are used for wire ropes.
Easy handling: Self-assembly of the clamps is possible with the help of a suitable wrench, two wire rope parts are clamped together by the simplex clamp during tightening.
Versatile applications: Simplex clamps are used to connect and hold very light rope end connections with loops or thimbles.

Which clamp size should I use for a coated wire rope (e.g. 6mm = 4 on 6)?
The size of the clamp must be adapted to the thickness of the wire rope including the plastic coating. For a 6mm wire rope (4 by 6) a 6mm clamp must be selected.
How big should I choose the clamp if the rope is 1.5mm? The smallest clamp is 2mm...
You can also use a 2mm simplex clamp for a 1.5mm thick wire rope without any problems.
