The Saveking®, the invention of the safety rope with damping element was developed by Ingo Witthuhn in 2010. The Saveking® is characterized by a significant advantage over conventional safety ropes without a damping element.

The Saveking® safety rope achieves a controlled reduction of a load pulse of an incident load, with the help of the built-in damping element. This means that comparatively smaller rope diameters can be used with the same equipment weights. In addition, the color marking makes it possible to quickly and reliably identify whether a load has been applied to the respective safety rope.

The Saveking® is crimped at both ends with a DIN 6899 thimble to protect the wire rope at the load suspension point. In addition, the wire rope is captively connected with a quick-connect link to DIN 56927 Form B.

BGV C1 guidelines: Saveking® safety ropes manufactured by Drahtseile24 are officially approved as safety ropes in the event sector for loads above persons of BGV-C1. In the current DGUV Information 215-313 (previously 810-3) you can read the necessary information on page 25 | 2.3.2. It should be noted that the safety rope must be attached without a possible fall path; if this is not possible, the maximum fall height of the secured work equipment must not exceed 20cm.

Unlike conventional safety ropes, there is no differentiation of the rope length in the Saveking® safety rope, as the natural elongation of the wire rope is not achieved.

The force when a load falls into a Saveking® type safety rope with a damping element is so low that the wire rope does not reach its natural elasticity.

Verifiable quality: Our Saveking® safety ropes are marked with a red color at the brake clamp. When a load falls, the loop tightens. To check the perfect condition of the Saveking® safety rope, a visual inspection of the color marking is required before use.

High-quality quick-connect links: The quick-connect links used comply with DIN 56927 and are used in accordance with the DGUV specifications on safety at events and productions - loads over persons.
