Safety ropes for event technology laid the foundation stone for the founding of the company Drahtseile24 GmbH in 1992. As early as 1990, when the first demands for securing work equipment above people became louder in the disco and stage construction industry, Ingo Witthuhn began to develop Safetys.

The safety ropes are provided with thimbles by hand in Germany and hydraulically pressed, the thimbles are exclusively thimbles according to DIN 6899 Form B. The safety ropes are made of stainless steel. Furthermore, the Safetys are captively connected with a quick-connect link according to DIN 56927 Form B and a marking badge.

All safety ropes offered comply with the BGV-C1 guidelines (Safety at events and production - loads above persons) and are used as secondary safety devices. Saveking safety ropes manufactured by Drahtseile24 are also officially approved as safety ropes for events in accordance with DGUV. The necessary information can be found on page 24 of the current DGUV Information 215-313.

The processed wire ropes comply with DIN 13411-3 and are regularly tested on in-house tensile testing machines to guarantee complete quality assurance. For all pressed Safetys, we specify payloads that correspond to Table 8 on page 24 of the DGUV guideline.

It should be noted that the safety rope must be attached without any possible fall path; if this is not possible, the maximum fall height of the secured object must not exceed 20cm.
