Pulley black with cotter pin for steel ropes
Our matte black colored pulleys with cotter pin and swivel hook are optimal for use with steel cables and any other form of rope with a suitable diameter.
High safety standard: The payload of the pulleys is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the actual breaking force. Using several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking loads were determined:
- 50mm idler pulley: 4,000kg breaking load.
- 75mm idler pulley: 5,500kg breaking load
A factory certificate according to EN 10204, 2.2 can be supplied for their application.
Black coating: The block pulleys for various types of ropes are colored black matte with an electroplating process. Due to the coating, black sheaves have limited corrosion resistance and are therefore not suitable for outdoor use.
Easy handling: with the help of the splint, the wire rope pulley can be easily and quickly released from the housing, so that steel cables with crimps can also be inserted.
Versatile applications: The wire rope pulleys are equipped with a swivel hook, allowing the pulley to rotate 360° on its own axis and be securely mounted on suitable anchor points. Due to the large pulley, the wire rope pulleys can be used for very many ropes and wire ropes, such as on fitness equipment. When using the steel ropes, please make sure that the size of the sheave diameter is at least 20 times the rope diameter. When using sheathed steel cables, only the diameter of the steel cable in the sheath is relevant.

The pulley has no ball bearing and the bolt of the 50mm has a length of 38mm and a diameter of 10mm, the bolt of the 75mm pulley has a 41mm long and 12mm thick bolt.
