Press Jaws for Hydraulic Crimping Pliers for 2mm - 10mm Ropes
Our crimping jaw inserts for our hydraulic crimping pliers are ideal for crimping terminals and crimping clamps for selected wire rope terminations on site.The crimping jaws can be used to crimp aluminum or copper crimp terminals for thicknesses 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm, stainless steel crimp terminals for thicknesses 3mm, 4mm, 5mm & 6mm. In addition, wire rope terminals for thicknesses 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm & 6mm can be crimped.
When selecting the appropriate crimping jaws for the hydraulic crimping pliers, the following special regulations must be observed due to the thin-walled material of some items:

Tested quality: In conjunction with the hydraulic crimping pliers, tensile tests were carried out with rope end connections, with crimping of crimping terminals, wire rope terminals, as well as oil terminals for sheathed wire ropes for fitness equipment up to 3 times. Subsequently, by calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces (converted to kg) of the pressed wire ropes could be determined:

- 4mm with terminals: 907kg
- 5mm with terminals: 968kg
- 6mm with terminals: 448kg
- 3mm with aluminum clamps: 428kg
- 4mm with aluminum clamps: 937kg

- 6mm with aluminum clamps: 1.070kg
- 8mm with aluminum clamps: 2.854kg
- 10mm with aluminum clamps: 4.892kg
- 3mm with copper clamps: 601kg
- 4mm with copper clamps: 1.233kg
- 5mm with copper clamps: 1.172kg
- 6mm with copper clamps: 2.354kg
- 8mm with copper clamps: 4.342kg
- 10mm with copper clamps: 5.402kg
- 3mm with stainless steel clamps: 632kg

Attention. No safety factor was taken into account when specifying the breaking forces! Please calculate at least a 5-fold safety factor to the possible payload for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: The pressing jaws of the crimping pliers can be exchanged very quickly and easily, only the upper bolt has to be loosened.
