Eyebolt Stainless Steel Black with Wood Thread
Our stainless, black colored eyebolts made of V2A AISI 304 stainless steel with wood thread and eye are optimal as fasteners for any kind of steel cables.
Tested quality: The black eyebolts with wood thread are made of high quality stainless steel and can, due to the corrosion resistance, also be exposed to difficult weather conditions. Due to the closed ring, the eyebolts can demonstrate very high breaking forces. With the help of calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the stainless steel eyebolts with wood thread were fastened to pine wood, and the following minimum breaking forces could be determined:
- 5x50mm: 489kg
- 6x60mm: 501kg
- 8x80mm: 989kg
- 10x100mm: 1.988kg
In all the test trials, the screws were pulled out of the pine wood, none of the eyelets suffered any significant damage. Attention. No safety factor is taken into account in the specification of the minimum breaking load, at least a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking load should be included in the application. A new and dry pine beam has been used, no statement can be made for wet, weathered or rotten wood. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: Eyebolts with wood thread can be quickly fastened to suitable anchor points in the wood or with suitable dowels in masonry or similar substrates with the help of the pronounced thread.
Versatile applications: Black eyebolts with wood thread serve perfectly as fastening points for a wide variety of applications: Fastening stainless steel tension cables, hanging decorations, flower pots, in guy wires, as supports for plants or fastening clotheslines. The eyebolts can be easily screwed into the wood by hand.
Easy expansion options: The eyebolts can of course be combined with matching stainless steel cable, tensioning ropes or wire rope sets from the store of Drahtseile24.
