Product description
Eyebolt stainless steel black with metric thread
Our stainless and black colored eyebolts made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel with metric threads and ring are optimal as fasteners for any kind of steel cables and are available in sizes M6, M8, M10 and M12
Tested quality: the black eyebolt with ring and metric thread are made of high quality stainless steel and, due to the corrosion resistance, can be exposed to harsh outdoor weather conditions. To ensure high strength, the eyebolts are completely closed. Due to the closed eye, the eyebolts with thread can show very high breaking forces. Using calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following minimum breaking forces of the stainless steel eyebolts could be determined:
- M6: 1,580kg
- M8: 2,039kg
- M10: 4.077kg
- M12: 6.116kg
Attention. No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the minimum breaking force, at least a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force should be included in the application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.
Easy handling: Our black eyebolts with ring can be quickly inserted through the desired stop with the help of the metric thread and screwed with the help of the nut. This makes it easy to attach the screw eyelets to beams or the like.
Versatile applications: With the help of the eyebolts, suitable fastenings can be created for black steel cables, such as fastening tension cables, hanging decorations, flower pots, lanterns, in guy wires, as supports for plants or fastening clotheslines to wooden posts, for example. With a choice of M6, M8, M10 and M12 threads, you can find the optimum sizes for your application.
Easy expansion options: The stainless steel eyebolts can of course be combined with matching wire ropes, rope sets or stainless steel ropes with terminals from the store of Drahtseile24. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the nut included in the delivery for the black stainless steel eyelet screw with metric thread or does it have to be ordered separately?
Yes, the eyebolts come with a matching nut and washer.
Can I also get an additional black washer from you?
A matching black nut and black washer are included with the eyebolt.
Can I attach the eyebolt to an aluminum post?
A black stainless steel eyebolt with a metric thread can be attached to an aluminum post, but there is an important point to consider: When stainless steel comes into direct contact with aluminum, a so-called contact corrosion can occur due to the different electrical potentials, especially in humid environments. To avoid this, you can use an insulating layer (eg special washers or a layer of corrosion inhibitor) between the materials.
