Wire rope black in 1,5mm - 3mm thickness with hook terminals
Our black steel wire ropes adhere to the DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are available in two configurations: 7x7 and 7x19, meaning 7 strands of 7 or 19 wires each. One end is crimped with a galvanized hook terminal equipped with a spring safety mechanism, allowing for quick and secure attachment to a load-bearing point—no additional connectors required. The opposite end is annealed for easy fixation using rope clamps.
High safety standard: The working load is calculated with a 5:1 safety factor based on the minimum breaking force, and the crimping is performed according to DIN-EN 12385-4 standards.
Our calibrated tensile testing machines have determined the following breaking forces:
- 1.5mm: 91kg
- 2mm: 132kg
- 2.5mm: 163kg
- 3mm: 356kg
Note: The above breaking forces do not include a safety factor. For safe use, please apply at least a 5-fold safety margin (e.g., 1.5mm wire: 91kg breaking load / 5 = 18kg working load). Full test reports are available under the "Test Reports" section on the product page.
Easy handling: The pressed hook terminal with spring safety allows the wire rope to be directly attached to ceilings, walls, or other appropriate fixtures without the need for additional connectors like carabiners or shackles. Please note that the hook is permanently swaged onto the wire rope and cannot be removed.
Versatile applications: Ideal for light installations in areas such as trade fairs, advertising displays, and store fittings, these wire ropes are perfect for securely hanging pictures, lamps, mirrors, and more.
