Stainless steel cable in 1 mm - 6 mm thickness with stainless steel round clamp and loop crimped

Our saltwater-resistant VA4 (AISI 316) stainless steel cables comply with European standard DIN 13414-1 and are classified as 7x7 and 7x19 cable types, consisting of 7 strands with 7 or 19 wires each. The high number of individual wires ensures both high flexibility and increased stability. The stainless steel wire rope is crimped at one end with a stainless steel round clamp, which acts as a rope stopper. At the other end, the stainless steel rope is crimped with a stainless steel press clamp and loop.

The loops are crimped uniformly in accordance with DIN specifications and have a size of 15 times the rope diameter, resulting in the following loop heights and widths:

• 1 mm rope thickness: 15 mm inner loop height, 7 mm inner loop width
• 1.5 mm rope thickness: 23 mm inner loop height, 15 mm inner loop width
• 2 mm rope thickness: 30 mm inner loop height, 15 mm inner loop width
• 3 mm rope thickness: 45 mm inner loop height, 22 mm inner loop width
• 4 mm rope thickness: 60 mm inner loop height, 29 mm inner loop width
• 5 mm rope thickness: 75 mm inner loop height, 34 mm inner loop width
• 6 mm rope thickness: 90 mm loop height inside, 38 mm loop width inside

High safety standard: The load capacity of the stainless steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force and is pressed in accordance with DIN-EN 12385-4.

Tested quality: We only use high-quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel for our stainless steel ropes with stainless steel round press clamps, which means that the wire ropes can be exposed to difficult weather conditions over a long period of time. With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee seamless quality assurance. Several test trials have determined the following minimum breaking forces for the stainless steel cables:

• 1 mm: 77 kg
• 1.5 mm: 158 kg
• 2 mm: 234 kg
• 3 mm: 397 kg
• 4 mm: 927 kg
• 5 mm: 1,580 kg
• 6 mm: 2,426 kg

Attention! The minimum breaking force does not include a safety factor. A safety factor of 5 must always be applied to the permissible working load. Not suitable for lifting loads above people or as PPE.

Customised lengths: The stainless steel cables are available in various thicknesses and lengths for customised production. The stainless steel cables with round clamps are then custom-made for you within 1-2 working days.

Versatile applications: As a pull rope and guy rope, for example for garage doors, awnings, parasols, sliding doors and wherever a stainless steel wire rope with stopper is required. Thanks to V4A AISI 316, it is also suitable for coastal regions and salty air.
