Our saltwater-resistant stainless steel wire ropes VA4 (AISI 316) comply with DIN European Standard 13414-1 and are classified as rope classes 7x7 and 7x19, consisting of 7 strands with either 7 or 19 wires, respectively. The high number of individual wires provides both high flexibility and increased strength. The stainless steel wire rope is crimped at one end with a stainless steel round clamp, which acts as a rope stop. At the other end, the stainless steel wire rope is annealed to prevent the individual wires from fraying.

High safety standard: The payload of the stainless steel wire rope is specified with a 5-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking strength and is crimped in accordance with DIN-EN 12385-4.

Certified quality: For our stainless steel wire ropes with stainless steel round crimp clamps, we exclusively use high-quality V4A AISI 316 stainless steel, which allows the wire ropes to withstand even harsh weather conditions over extended periods. With the help of several in-house calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee seamless quality assurance. The following minimum breaking strengths for the stainless steel wire ropes were determined in multiple tests:

• 1 mm: 77 kg
• 1.5mm: 158kg
• 2mm: 234kg
• 3mm: 397kg
• 4mm: 927kg
• 5mm: 1.580kg
• 6mm: 2.426kg

Caution! The minimum breaking strength does not include a safety factor. A safety factor of 5 must always be applied to the permissible payload. Not suitable for lifting loads over people and not suitable as PPE.
