Stainless Steel Snap Hook with Thimble 4mm - 10mm
Our saltwater resistant snap hooks made of V4A AISI 316 stainless steel comply with DIN European Standard 5299, Form C and are processed with a snap hook and a fixed eye.
High safety standard: The payload of the snap hook is specified with a 2-fold safety factor to the minimum breaking force. The hook must be able to align itself in the direction of the load and the load must be shock-free.
Tested quality: With the help of several of our own calibrated universal tensile testing machines, we are able to guarantee complete quality assurance.
Captive eyelet: The snap hooks can be opened very easily and quickly with the help of the snap hook, but cannot open by themselves. Due to the pressed-in thimble, the hooks can be captive connected to a wire rope.
Versatile use: Due to the selection of 6 different sizes, the range of application of the snap hooks is very extensive. Carabiners can be used as a quick connection element to attach wire ropes to objects or to attach curtains or drapes to the wire rope.
Important safety note: Snap hooks are not permitted for loads above persons.
