Black Hook Terminals for Crimping 1.5mm - 3mm Cables
Our high-quality black hook terminals are ideal for crimping as end connections for wire and steel cables. They can be securely and reliably crimped onto the cable using a hydraulic crimping tool or a specialized pressing tool. Thanks to the integrated spring lock, the hook terminals can be quickly attached to suitable load points without the need for additional connecting elements.
Tested Quality: Our hook terminals are perfect for steel cables with diameters from 1.5mm to 3mm and have been tested for high breaking forces. They are ideal for lighter lifting and suspension applications. The following breaking forces (converted to kg) were determined using our hydraulic crimping tool:
- 1.5mm: 91 kg
- 2mm: 132 kg
- 2.5mm: 163 kg
- 3mm: 356 kg
Note: The specified breaking forces are given without a safety factor! Please ensure you account for an appropriate safety factor in your application. Detailed test reports can be found under "Test Reports" on the product page.
Easy Handling: Using our hydraulic crimping tool, the hook terminals can be quickly and precisely crimped onto the steel cable. Please note that using a simple hand crimping tool, such as our 2-in-1 crimping and wire rope cutting tool, is not sufficient. To ensure maximum breaking load, the coating on coated steel cables must be removed before crimping.
Optimal Application: Our hook terminals are especially suitable for black-galvanized wire ropes and offer maximum flexibility. Since you can assemble the end connection yourself, the exact cable length does not need to be determined in advance. With the crimped hook terminal and spring lock, the cable can be attached directly to ceiling or wall mounting points – without the need for additional connecting elements such as carabiners or shackles. Once crimped, the terminal cannot be separated from the cable.
Easy Expansion Options: Our hook terminals can of course be combined with all 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, and 3mm galvanized cables from our shop and crimped with the hydraulic crimping tool.
