Stainless steel V4A AISI 316 clamping rings for 2 mm - 8 mm ropes

Two-piece stainless steel clamping rings made of V4A (AISI 316) are perfect for securely fixing wire ropes indoors and outdoors. The robust rope stoppers with two grub screws offer maximum holding force and are ideal as steel rope stop clamps, e.g. for awnings, shelving systems, rope tensioning systems or climbing aids.

Tested quality: Our stainless steel clamping rings are made of high-quality, seawater-resistant V4A stainless steel and are therefore ideal for permanent outdoor use. The polished surface not only enhances the appearance but also increases corrosion resistance. Due to their high breaking forces, the clamp rings can also be used for heavy suspensions. The following minimum breaking forces of the clamp rings were determined using calibrated universal tensile testing machines:

• 2 mm: 275 kg
• 3 mm: 249 kg
• 4 mm: 366 kg
• 5 mm: 254 kg
• 6 mm: 259 kg
• 8 mm: 433 kg

Attention! The breaking forces of the stainless steel clamping rings are specified without a safety factor. Please add at least a 3-fold safety factor for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under ‘Test reports’ on the article page.

Simple installation: The two-part design allows the clamping ring to be attached to the wire rope particularly securely and easily. With the help of a suitable Allen key, the clamping ring can be installed without tools and without special knowledge, reliably and removably.

Versatile applications: Thanks to their compact design, our stainless steel clamping rings are versatile and can be used, among other things, as shelf stoppers on wire ropes, stop clamps for rope tensioning systems on awnings, clamp holders for climbing aids and plant systems, or end stops for wire ropes on curtains or partition walls.
