2-in-1 Crimping Pliers & Wire Rope Shears for 1.5mm - 4mm ropes

Our forged crimping pliers are equipped with three different sized crimping jaws, as well as two cutting blades and steel fasteners and lightweight handles wrapped with a PVC jacket. The crimping pliers is optimal for crimping aluminum and copper crimping sleeves and crimping clamps for 2mm, 3mm and 4mm thickness. In addition, the crimping pliers are equipped with two wire rope cutters, which guarantee clean cutting of steel and wire ropes up to a diameter thickness of 4mm.

Tested quality: With the help of the manual crimping pliers, rope end connections with 2-3 times crimping of aluminum and copper crimps were carried out. Subsequently, by calibrated universal tensile testing machines, the following breaking forces of the crimped wire ropes could be determined:

• 1.5mm: 41kg (Attention! Crimped with 2mm crimping clamp)
• 2mm: 265kg
• 3mm: 552kg
• 4mm: 981kg

Attention! No safety factor is taken into account when specifying the breaking load! Please calculate at least a 5-fold safety factor to the possible payload for your application. The detailed test reports can be found under "Test reports" on the article page.

In a comparable test with copper crimping pliers for stainless steel ropes similar results could be achieved.

These crimping pliers are not suitable for crimping stainless steel crimps. If you want to crimp stainless steel cable with stainless steel crimping pliers, please use our hydraulic crimping pliers.

Easy handling: The pressing tongs can be operated quickly and easily due to the handy weight of 995g and small size of 43cm. Due to the 2-in-1 function, crimping sleeves can be crimped on wire ropes and cleanly cut by the side blades. The equipment of a triangular cut ensures a precise cut.
